SILICONING: standard silicon coated products with profiles tailored to individual requirements. The silicone elastomers that we use have been specially formulated for coating textile products. All comply with the Oko-tex 100 standard.
All of our coatings are non-allergenic. Within the medical industry silicones are recognised to be the most "bio compatible".
All of our coatings have been independently tested, and were found to be suitable for skin contact. Elastac soft gel coating was found to be especially suitable for sensitive skin.
Coatings are exceptionally clear and odourless.
Coatings are washable, independent tests showed that a product passed a 15-cycle test where it was washed at 90°C, repeatedly stretched to its maximum ten tumble-dried.
Coatings are moldable and temperature resistant withstanding up to 250°C without effect.
Silicone rubber will not crack when the coated fabric is stretched.
