Bondelast is a narrow textile applied to a garment through heat transfer. Removes the need for sewing, giving a smooth look, free of sewing and stitch, lines. It uses a soft, highly elastic adhesive designed for a variety of apparel applications. The solution for garments that require the functionality, support and performance of elastic: without any visable sewing, resulting in vastly improved look and comfort.
This concept was highly successful in the design of the LXR Racer swimsuit used at the Olympics. The strength of the resulting seams have been tested to a breaking strength of 250 Newtons over a given width.
